On evacuation

Every election, we hear from the Liberal Natterati that they are going to "Pack up and move to XXXX socialist country if a Republican wins." Sadly, we never hear these types of threats from the other side.

Let's think about this for a minute. If the (R) wins, and the lefty moves out, what changes?

1. If said Lefty is a welfare recipient, we reduce the onerous burden of supporting that person.
2. If they're a college student, that's one less protester blocking the path of actual workers who are going out to produce things.
3. If they're a Hollywood bigshot, we lose a talk-show host or a blathering idiot.
4. There will be one less journalist on the air.

Now, of course, they never make good on these threats. Why is this, you ask? Simple.

It would rapidly become obvious that we don't need them.

The Lefty bloggers, talk show hosts, Hollywood stars, and so forth would all quickly learn that, far from striking a deadly blow to America by depriving us of their presence, they actually improve the quality of life for everyone remaining here by departing, while, at the same time, discovering that their exit is welcomed by everyone, thus shattering their ego.

Now, let's take a look at what would happen should the rightward leaning folks decide to split once the Obamessiah takes office.

1. Business owners will try to take their business with them. Factory owners will move someplace with fewer disincentives to produce, and lower taxes. Ooops. There go thousands of jobs. Oh, well, we'll just put the newly unemployed on welfare.
2. The people who are actually productive will follow their jobs to this new country. After all, a more lax tax structure is as good for individuals as it is for business, and it comes with the benefit of knowing that you're leaving behind the mewling welfare rats, screaming to profit from your work.
3. The people who believe in the Second Amendment will flee. So much for the last line of defense against invasion. Oh, and the first line, since most of the military refuses to support politicians that demonize them. If the opportunity to go someplace that still cherishes American values comes up, and the productive half of the country goes there, do you really think our soldiers will NOT follow?

So, strangely, you never hear of Republicans stomping their foot, and threatening to take their marbles, and go home if we elect communists like Osama. That's because our side not only believes in responsibility, we understand that we *have* the responsibility to keep America from tanking. If we all left, America would be wiped out in under a decade. (EVERYONE can't be on welfare, after all.)

So please - vote against Obama, and let's hold the people who are threatening to leave to their word. If they've stated publicly in any form of media, "If McCain wins, I will move away from America", we deport them and strip them of their citizenship the day he's sworn in. Let's see how they react to knowing that the country is a better place without them.
